About the Classes:
All Sunday School teaching is based on the King James Version of the Bible
and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the
Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.
Students learn about God and His ever-present care, about prayer and its
healing power, as well as the relevance of Christ Jesus' teachings in their own
lives.
Students are placed in classes according to age or grade.
Class discussions focus on giving students the spiritual truths they need
to meet the many challenges facing young people today.
Children naturally love God. They want to know more about their Father-Mother
God, and God’s guiding presence in their lives.
The Ten Commandments, Christ Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, and the
Lord’s Prayer are among the first lessons.
Bible stories come alive as experienced teachers show how spiritual and
moral values are important to everyday life.
Older students study the Weekly Bible Lesson Sermon from the Christian
Science Quarterly, and are encouraged to use what they are learning during the
week.
By their own prayers, our Sunday School students have been healed of
headaches, stomachaches, and injuries resulting from accidents.
Difficult relationships with parents and friends have been healed, along
with academic problems.
Teen ConnectConnecting a new generation of spiritual thinkers. A diverse group of students, young professionals and spiritual thinkers meet online at Teen Connect. Online features include topics such as relationships, health and identity, school, jobs, and the future are discussed.
